Incontinence

Mild To moderate urinary incontinence.

Pads for Women:

For many years women have been using Rad-pads cloth pads for mild to moderate urinary incontinence. The feedback we have from women is that the pads are popular and very discreet for mild to moderate leekage of urine.  For example if you are going out and not very confident of finding a toilet in time and develop some leekage or you just want to have that extra bit of confidence no matter what.

Pads for Men.

Men can have some urinary leakage as well - this can be a consequence of a number of health conditions.  We have had requests to develop a pad for men to be used for light to moderate leakage, and we are currently trialling these  with 'real men'.  If your man or someone you know would like to be part of this trial and recieve a free pad or two in exchange for their feedback we would love to hear from you.  Please email us at info@radpads.com.au or phone (03)53 3030 10.

The Rad-Pads last for many years if cared for appropriately and become part of your underwear drawer contents, can be washed and dried quickly (depends a bit on your weather patterns in your area) and also minimises the cost to you and the environment in purchasing disposables.

HEAVIER FLOW:  For the woman who feels that she needs some additional support at night or day, the Night Pad, 8 luxious layers of hemp fleece may be suitable.  The Hemp fleece is even more absorbent than the cotton fabrics and the Night pad is quite a few cm longer than the regular sized pads, so perfect for night times or if you are less ambulatory and confined to a chair or wheelchair.

For the cost of several pads, you may find that you have a comfortable, cost effective way of assisting with urinary leakage.

In addition, our feedback is that many women are preferring these cloth pads as it helps to minimise and even stop the awful itching and skin problems which some women suffer from when they use disposables.

If you have a urinary incontinence concern, you may like to try a few different sizes to see which suits you best, and also if you have a night time or ambulatory problem, try the Night pad.  The July Special may be just right for you as it has one of each size (s,m, l and ex-l) plus a wing liner.

The small, medium and large pads are all one length, with the towelling insert being a double fold for small, triple fold for medium and quadruple fold for large.  The extra large pad is several cm longer than the other pads and had a quadruple fold towelling insert. The wing liners can also be placed inside the Rad-Pads case as well as the towelling insert to give another layer of protection.
