Rad-pads cloth menstrual, incontinence and pants liner products and other products on the Rad-Pads site.

 

POSTAL SERVICE :

Australia : Rad-Pads owners make all reasonable efforts to ensure your products arrive safely at your postal address. 

Rad-Pads sends all items in Australia above the retail product value of $60 either express post, registered post or Australia Post Tracking Service.

Products to the value of $60 or less are generally sent regular mail inside Australia unless your state a preference to paying for express or registered post.

International: Rad-Pads send all orders to countries outside Australia via general mail (surface) unless you have requested and paid for registered or express service.  If you wish to have express or registered postal service outside Australia, please contact us at info@rad-pads.com .
 
Responsibility:  Your products, once posted with all reasonable care for prompt and reliable delivery (as above) by Rad-pads are the responsibility of the purchaser once they have left our offices.

Postal pricing:   Pricing for postage is listed on the Rad-Pads shopping cart.  These prices can be altered and postal service conditions altered if you contact us directly and we agree with you on the best postal or courier option for your delivery and appropriate pricing. 

Timing of your order:  When your order is completed – ie. Payment has been received with appropriate postage included,  Rad-Pads endeavours to post your order within 48 hours (2 working days)  of completion of ordering process.

 

RAD-PADS Materials:

  • Rad-pads utilizes colored 100% cotton jersey and wide wale corduroy for the ‘colored cotton’ pad options.
  • Rad-Pads utilizes hemp fleece (a mix of hemp fiber and organic cotton jersey) for the hemp fleece and organic cotton jersey products.
  • Other materials are used in Rad-Products at their discretion.
  • We endeavour to ensure any products which have an ‘organic’ label are certified and are reliant on the compliance of our cloth suppliers.
  • The emphasis on Rad-Pads materials and products is that of earth and health care, so products can be re-cycled, packaging is low environmental impacts and health effects are positive.

 

CARE OF RAD-PADS Cloth products.

Rad-Pads are made by hand in Australia by experienced cutters and sewers utilizing specialized machinery.  They are made to a specific quality which we have found over the years result in extremely durable products with good quality control.

 

Rad-Pads can last for many years if cared for appropriately.  We often have feedback from women who have had their pads for between 5-10 years or more and are still using them.  In order to maintain your Rad-Pads cloth products for the longer term use we suggest the following:

  • Do not soak the pads in water for more than 24 hours – to do so may weaken the fabric and thread over a long period of time.
  • Do not put wet pads in the clothes drier on ‘hot’.  Damp pads may be dried on the ‘warm’ or ‘cooler’ cycle of a drier for a short period when necessary.
  • Do not put your pads straight into your washing machine without soaking first. 
  • If using a washing machine, use the ‘gentle’ cycle and put your pads in a undergarment bag.
  • We recommend that hand-washing is the most effective method of washing Rad-pads cloth products after soaking or straight away when a change of pad is needed.
  • Staining – can be minimized by soaking or washing straight away and utilizing a non-toxic cleaning product - our site will have available any suitable cleaning  products when available to us. 
  • We recommend sun drying when ever possible.

EFFECTIVE USE OF RAD-PADS cloth products:

  • Women’s Rad-Pads cloth products suit most women for menstrual use.  They are also suitable for mild to moderate urinary incontinence and as pants liners for everyday use.
  • Men’s Rad-pads – called the ‘Man Pad’ are suitably to mild to moderate urinary leakage.  Some of the Man Pads contain a nylon taffeta shower proof section as well as the cloth. 
  • Rad-Pads recommends that customers utilize high quality, firm underpants to hold their Rad-pads in place comfortably.
  • Rad-pads owners can never guarantee that there will not be leakage with cloth pads.  As is the nature of all menstrual or incontinence products, leakage is dependent upon the users observations of their cycle or urinary condition and appropriate changing of the pads when needed. 
  • Rad-Pads does not use rubber or plastic base on our women’s products as these may cause vulval or vaginal irritation for some women.
  • Women generally find the cloth pads extremely comfortable and economical.  We recommend that you try several sizes of the pads to find the best size for your needs.

  • Pricing of goods and services available through the Rad-pads site are subject to change without notice. 
  • Pricing of Postage and handling is subject to alteration without notice.
  • All ‘specials’ are current if they are listed on the Rad-Pads site.

  • Rad-Pads only lists customer feedback and testimonials if there is express permission given by the customer.
  • Rad-Pads requests that if you have feedback or testimonials you wish to share that you contact us directly at info@rad-pads.com .

  • Rad-Pads lists the retail partners (stockists of Rad-Pads) on our ‘Stockists’ pages on our site.
  • Rad-Pads updates our retail partners lists and details every 6 months.
  • Rad-Pads does not take responsibility for the levels of stock of our products with any of the retail partners.  Some retail partners may have many of our products and some just a few, or may have run out of them.
